This is a disk image where a copy of the retail version of Leopard 10.5.6 is installed. This copy is in Dutch, but it's very easy to use the Google Translate app to set it up in English (this is a multi-language copy). To get this copy onto the target is actually very easy if you use a USB to IDE/SATA converter or if you connect the target through FireWire and boot with the T key held down (it's called Target Disk Mode) and restore the image that way. It's fully bootable under PowerPC and Intel, so just restore this disk image with Disk Utility and you are all set.

This copy is from a Jaguar Mac OS X 10.2.8 install.

If you remember the old Key Caps program from the classic Mac days, this may bring back some fond memories.

I was surprised to find that distribution of Key Caps didn't end with Mac OS 9.2.2 but had been included as part of the Mac OS X system install up until 10.2.8 when it was only after then finally removed from Mac OS installations with Mac OS X 10.3.0 onwards.

To my own even greater surprise, I discovered that this version of Key Caps will run under Panther too.

• DL #1: Key_Caps_10_0_3.dmg - Unmodified version 10.0.3 runs fine in both Panther and Tiger but is incompatible with Leopard or newer Mac OS's.

Compatibility: 

The "Disk Tools" disk and the "Install Disk 1" contain the System Enabler "Minimum 5300/2300/190 Enabler" a cut-down version of the enabler to get the installer to run.

The download contains a Disk Copy 4.2 image of a localiser floppy disk from 1990. It is a system localiser. The system on the disk is 6.0.4 so you could boot from that if your setup is suitable. The localisation is for System 6 and 7.

The steps in the localisation procedure are the following:

1) Boot your Mac from a system other than the system you want the resources installed in. This could be a floppy disk made from the Localizer disk image here, if convenient.

2) Ensure that either the Localizer disk or the Localizer disk image is mounted.

Compatibility: 

Full System 6 compatibility needs further testing. It SHOULD be OK for System 6 as the disk boots System 6. I cannot recall if I actually used this on System 6.
