A CD-ROM collecting Newton developer resources—mainly sample code, and information on signing up for various developer programs. Also includes a handful of supporting Mac programs: Apple Doc Viewer 1.1, BBEdit Lite 2.3.1, Disinfectant 3.2, and ResEdit 2.1.1.
PIE stands for Personal Interactive Electronics (according to the “What Is StarCore” document on the disc), and was apparently the division of Apple responsible for the Newton at the time.
