THE 32-BIT SYSTEM ENABLER
WHAT IS THE 32-BIT SYSTEM ENABLER?
The 32-Bit System Enabler adds 32-Bit addressing and a larger virtual memory capability to the Macintosh II, Macintosh IIx, Macintosh IIcx, and Macintosh SE/30.
32-Bit addressing enables Macintosh computers to use more than 8 MB of RAM. Virtual memory allows you to use hard disk space to run programs. For more information about these features, see the documentation that came with your computer or with your system software update kit.
