Multimedia in Action

Multimedia In Action is a demo disc showcasing the Mac's advanced (for the time) multimedia technologies. In addition to demo versions of Myst, and multimedia authoring software, it also has a virtual tourist guide for the city of Bath (why Bath? No idea - I mean, it's nice, but why not somewhere with global appeal like London?). Most impressive to me though, at the time, were movie trailers. Who'd have thought that my LCIII could show such high resolution video? Come to think of it, even my SE/30 put in quite a good showing.
This seems to be quite a rare disc.

Compatibility:

This disc doesn't work on Mac OS X (actually, the disk isn't recognised on anything newer than Mac OS 9.2). To use this disk you will need to download the .cdr file, burn it to a real CD, and use it with a computer that a) supports Quicktime and b) can boot into any Mac OS between System 6.0.8 and Mac OS 9.2.2.
