The eMate Classroom Exchange software allows you to connect one or several eMates to a Mac OS computer and transfer information between the eMate devices and the computer simultaneously.

Using the eMate Classroom Exchange software, you can:

  • copy or move information from an eMate to the Mac OS computer
  • copy information from the computer to an eMate
  • Compatibility:

Additionally, you’ll need the following hardware and software in order to use the eMate Classroom Exchange software:

  • The eMate Connectivity CD, where the eMate Classroom Exchange software is stored
  • If you’re using an AppleTalk network, you’ll need one LocalTalk connection kit for each eMate you are connecting to the computer and one kit for the computer itself.
  • If you’re using a serial connection to connect one eMate to the computer, you’ll need a serial cable with a DIN-8 connector on each end.
  • One or more eMates (The number of eMates you can connect and the rate of information transfer depends upon the type of computer you are using. The software can support up to 16 simultaneous connections.)
